DayTraders Review 2026: Rules, Pricing & Our Verdict

DayTraders (daytraders.com) is a Las Vegas futures prop firm that sells one-time evaluations, runs a 100% simulated profit split on Pro and S2F accounts, and publishes a live payout ledger. It is an operating, reviewable firm — not a scam by any evidence we found. Every number below was read from DayTraders' live site, plan configurator and help centre on September 23, 2026. Key numbers: evaluations from $40 (Static), 2 qualifying days to pass, a $500 payout minimum, and 4.6 on Trustpilot from 492 reviews. It suits futures traders who want a cheap one-time evaluation with the rules printed on the plan card. The biggest caveat: its own pages disagree about the activation fee — the configurator advertises a flat $5, while the help centre's fee table lists $130 for every size.

Key takeaways
  • One-time evaluation pricing read from the live configurator: Static from $40, Trail from $55, EOD from $80, Straight to Funded from $222 and Straight to Live from $179.
  • Every evaluation needs only 2 qualifying days to pass, with a 50% consistency rule during the evaluation and 30% on the funded Pro account.
  • Pro and S2F accounts keep 100% of simulated profits; Straight to Live accounts pay 80/20 with daily payout requests after a $1,000 buffer.
  • Payouts need a $500 minimum, 8 qualifying days between requests on Pro accounts (10 on S2F), and a minimum balance that keeps a cushion in the account.
  • The activation fee is the vendor conflict to check: the configurator advertises a flat $5 fee, while the help centre's fee table lists $130 for every size.
  • Trustpilot shows 4.6 from 492 reviews; Reddit sentiment is thin and mixed, with no widely upvoted payout-denial thread that we could find.
  • DayTraders publishes no coupon codes and we have none to give: its own pricing page says "real prices, no coupon required". Our link is a referral link only.

DayTraders.com is a futures prop firm headquartered at 2300 W Sahara Ave, Suite 800, Las Vegas, Nevada. Its Trustpilot profile has been claimed since August 2024, which is roughly how long the brand has been operating under this name. Traders buy a one-time evaluation, pass it in as few as two qualifying days, activate a simulated "Pro" account, and withdraw simulated profits — or skip the evaluation entirely with a Straight to Funded or Straight to Live plan.

The firm's pitch is transparency: one standard price, every rule shown on the plan card before you buy, an automated payout approval process, and a public payout ledger with processing times. Most of that checks out on the live site. The gap is between the marketing page and the help centre on what activation costs, and this review reports both.

DayTraders at a glance

  • Markets: futures on CME, COMEX, NYMEX and CBOT only. Forex, CFDs, stocks, options and crypto are prohibited within the DayTraders ecosystem.
  • Plans: EOD, Trail and Static evaluations; Straight to Funded (S2F, no evaluation); Straight to Live (S2L) in Core, Edge and Ultra tiers.

  • Pricing model: a one-time fee per account on the live configurator, from $40. The help centre also describes a monthly-rebilled account option with a lighter activity requirement; the configurator we read did not show that toggle.
  • Profit split: 100% of simulated profits on Pro and S2F accounts; 80/20 on live accounts.
  • Platforms: Rithmic-based accounts, with connection guides for Quantower, ATAS, Bookmap and Finamark, free licences for Onyx (and Quantower on S2L), and the firm's own browser platform ArcTrader. The help centre states NinjaTrader is not supported on any account.
  • Discount code: none. DayTraders' pricing page reads "Real prices, no coupon required… No codes to hunt for, no countdown, no expiring offer." No promo code is published on this page.

What does DayTraders cost in 2026?

These are the prices rendered by the "Build Your Account" configurator on daytraders.com on September 23, 2026. Each is a one-time fee per account, shown as Rithmic pricing; the configurator's ArcTrader platform option was marked "coming soon" at "same price, same rules".

EOD evaluations (end-of-day trailing drawdown)

  • 25K EOD — $80. $1,500 profit target, $1,000 total drawdown, $800 daily loss limit, 6 minis (60 micros).
  • 50K EOD — $105. $3,000 target, $2,000 drawdown, $1,250 daily loss limit, 10 minis (100 micros). Marked "most popular".
  • 150K EOD — $225. $8,500 target, $4,000 drawdown, $2,000 daily loss limit, 12 minis (120 micros).
  • 300K EOD — $400. $15,000 target, $6,500 drawdown, $3,250 daily loss limit, 40 minis (400 micros).
  • Common to all four: 2 qualifying days to pass, 50%/30% consistency rule (evaluation/Pro), a maximum of 5 EOD accounts, and a $5 activation fee on the card.

Trail evaluations (intraday trailing)

  • 25K Trail — $55. $1,500 target, $1,500 trailing drawdown, no daily loss limit, 6 minis.
  • 50K Trail — $70. $3,000 target, $2,500 drawdown, 10 minis.
  • 150K Trail — $100. $8,500 target, $4,500 drawdown, 20 minis.
  • 300K Trail — $140. $15,000 target, $7,000 drawdown, 40 minis.
  • Why Trail is cheaper than EOD: the drawdown follows your live balance including open profit and can breach you intraday. The help centre's own example: a 50K account whose live balance touches $52,000 moves its floor to $49,500, and a dip below that fails the account even if the trade recovers.

Static evaluations (fixed drawdown)

  • 25K Static — $40. $2,500 target, $750 fixed drawdown, 4 minis (40 micros).
  • 50K Static — $50. $3,750 target, $1,000 drawdown, 6 minis.
  • 100K Static — $75. $5,750 target, $1,500 drawdown, 8 minis.
  • 150K Static — $90. $6,750 target, $1,750 drawdown, 8 minis.
  • No daily loss limit on Static, and the floor never moves. The trade-off is a small cushion: $750 of room on a $25,000 account is 3%, and the target is more than three times the drawdown.

Straight to Funded (S2F) — no evaluation

  • 25K S2F — $222. $1,000 EOD drawdown, no daily loss limit, 2 minis (20 micros).
  • 50K S2F — $342. $2,500 drawdown, $1,250 daily loss limit, 10 minis.
  • 150K S2F — $495. $6,000 drawdown, $3,750 daily loss limit, 24 minis. Marked "most popular".
  • Common to all three: a 20% consistency rule, payouts every 10 qualifying days, free real-time data, and a maximum of 5 S2F accounts.

Straight to Live (S2L) — a live-capital evaluation

  • Core — $179. $50,000 buying power, $3,000 target, $2,000 drawdown, $1,000 daily loss limit, 2 minis.
  • Edge — $319. $150,000, $8,500 target, $4,500 drawdown, $1,750 daily loss limit, 3 minis. Marked "most popular".
  • Ultra — $449. $300,000, $15,000 target, $7,000 drawdown, $3,250 daily loss limit, 4 minis.
  • Common to all three: 8 qualifying days to pass, intraday trailing drawdown, 25% consistency rule, free data and platform licence, and no activation fee once passed.

The activation fee: $5 or $130?

DayTraders' own pages disagree, and the difference is bigger than most of its evaluation prices. Confirm it in the member dashboard before you count on either number.

  • What the configurator says: the pricing block's headline reads "One standard price. A flat $5 activation fee. No codes, no gimmicks", and every EOD, Trail and Static plan card we rendered on September 23, 2026 shows "ACTIVATION FEE $5" with a "NEW" tag.
  • What the help centre says: the article "Pro Account: Activation And Fees" carries a "Pro Account Activation one-time Fees" table listing $130 for every size from 25K to 300K, Trailing and Static alike.
  • What the pricing page says: daytraders.com/promo states that evaluation prices "exclude Pro Account fees", which "are billed separately and are priced at cost" — without naming a number.
  • Our read: the "NEW" tag suggests a recent cut to $5 that the help-centre table has not caught up with, but we could not find a DayTraders page that states both figures together or dates the change. Treat the fee as unconfirmed until your own dashboard shows the payment link.
  • Either way, there is a deadline: the same help article says a passed evaluation must be set up as a Pro account within 30 days of your last evaluation trade or you risk forfeiting it.

How the rules and drawdown work

  • Qualifying days, not trading days. A qualifying day (QDay) is a session between 6:00 PM ET and 5:00 PM ET the next day that meets the minimum daily profit for the size and follows every rule. Minimums are $100 on 25K, $200 on 50K and 75K, $300 on 100K, 150K and 250K, and $400 on 300K. Days that miss the profit floor still count as trading days but not toward passing or a payout.
  • Two QDays to pass. Every evaluation card and the QDays help article agree: the minimum to pass is 2 qualifying days.
  • Consistency rule. 50% during the evaluation and 30% on the Pro account, meaning no single day may exceed that share of total profit. S2F runs 20%, S2L evaluations 25%, and live accounts have none.
  • Three drawdown models. Trail (intraday, follows live balance including open PnL, stops trailing at the profit target on evaluations and at the initial balance on Pro accounts), Static (fixed, never moves), and EOD (updates once per day from the closing balance). The drawdown model cannot be changed after purchase, and the Pro account inherits the model you chose.
  • Account limits. The configurator caps EOD, S2F, S2L and live accounts at 5 each; the homepage advertises up to 15 funded accounts in total.
  • Inactivity policy. Lifetime (one-time fee) accounts must post 4 qualifying trading days in every rolling 30-day window, checked daily; monthly-rebilled accounts need 1. A Reddit poster below lost a funded account to exactly this rule.
  • Purchase rules. The help centre says you cannot complete a purchase with a VPN on, and that account type, size and data provider cannot be changed after checkout.
  • Prohibited behaviour. Hedging and high-frequency trading may void payout eligibility; identity fraud, payment fraud or account sharing means removal from the platform.

Payout rules: minimums, cycles and the balance cushion

The figures below are from the "Payout FAQ (Pro Accounts + S2F)" help article, dated June 10, 2026 and read on September 23, 2026.

  • Minimum request: $500, in $500 increments, on both Pro and S2F accounts. The day you request a payout does not count as a qualifying day, and you must place one trade after submitting to generate the report.
  • Cycle: 8 qualifying days between requests on Pro accounts, 10 on S2F. The session after approval counts as day one of the next cycle.
  • Pro account thresholds by size: 25K needs $26,600 to request, must stay at $26,000 after, max $1,000 per request; 50K — $52,600 / $52,000 / $2,000; 100K — $103,100 / $103,000 / $3,000; 150K — $155,100 / $153,500 / $3,500; 300K — $307,600 / $305,000 / $5,000. The funded-rules article adds a 75K row: $77,850 / $77,500 / $2,500.
  • S2F targets between payouts: on a 25K, $2,000 for the first payout, $1,500 for the second and $1,000 from the third, capped at $1,000 per request; 50K — $3,500 / $3,000 / $2,500, cap $2,000; 150K — $10,000 / $5,000 / $3,500, cap $3,000. Consistency resets after each payout.
  • Speed: payouts approved before 5:00 PM ET reflect the same day. The public ledger on daytraders.com/payouts listed September 23, 2026 approvals at 2–3 hours, and September 21–22 entries at 0–25 minutes; the firm's homepage calls the process "automated". That ledger is the firm's own record, not an audited one.
  • Payout method: set up in advance through a provider such as Plane. US traders receive a 1099-NEC; non-US traders receive no tax form.
  • Transition to live: DayTraders says it moves around 1% of sim-funded traders to live accounts, at the Risk Team's discretion, with no guaranteed promotion. If you are moved during a payout and your total payouts exceed $10,000, half is paid out and half is allocated to the live account.
  • Live accounts: 80/20 split, daily payout requests, a $1,000 buffer above the initial balance that you can trade within but not withdraw into, and no withdrawals until the trailing drawdown has locked at the initial balance. Live account setup takes 1–5 business days, and moving to live forfeits any remaining sim accounts.

Community evidence: what traders say

DayTraders' review base is small, recent and mostly positive. The negative reviews are about payments and rule changes rather than payout denials.

  • Trustpilot: a 4.6 TrustScore from 492 reviews when we read the profile on September 23, 2026, on a claimed profile with a paid Trustpilot subscription, 313 reviews in the last 12 months, and replies to 90% of negative reviews. The company invites customers to review.
  • Positive theme — speed and support: a September 4, 2026 five-star review calls it "Best in The Biz" and praises the price; an August 21, 2026 five-star review says the trader "had an issue with my 1st payout but ivan sorted it after speaking to a human"; another recent five-star review says a first payout was approved "within minutes" after setting up Plane. One reviewer likes being allowed "up to 15 funded accounts at once" and the Static options.
  • Negative theme — payments and changes: an August 2026 one-star review describes a $40 Static purchase charged to a Turkish bank card that DayTraders said it did not receive, with the dispute unresolved when written. Trustpilot's own summary of recent reviews lists "unexpected technical glitches, payment disputes, and sudden rule changes" and "occasional platform freezing" as the complaints.
  • A reviewer's number that does not match the site: the September 4 review credits a "90/10 profit share"; DayTraders' own pages state 100% on simulated accounts and 80/20 on live accounts. We could not verify a 90/10 tier on any current page.
  • Reddit: in r/PropFirmTester, a trader documenting a DayTraders Pro account described needing eight $200-plus days and roughly $4,000 of profit to take a $2,000 payout while leaving a $2,000 cushion — consistent with the published 50K thresholds — and later reported losing the account to inactivity rather than to a denial. A second r/PropFirmTester thread, from a trader who passed a 50K evaluation on a Christmas deal, asked about a congratulatory letter from the firm; commenters read it as automated. We found no widely upvoted thread alleging a denied DayTraders payout as of September 23, 2026.
  • What the vendor says about itself: "thousands of traders in 40+ countries", automated payout approval, and a public payout ledger. Those are the firm's own claims; the ledger is the only one we could read directly.

Is DayTraders legit? What we can and cannot verify

Short answer: DayTraders is an operating futures prop firm with a physical Las Vegas address, publicly documented rules, a public payout ledger with timestamps, and a 4.6 Trustpilot score — but it is a young firm with a small review base, and its activation fee is stated two different ways on its own site.

  • What we verified: every plan price and rule on the configurator across EOD, Trail, Static, S2F and S2L; the drawdown mechanics and examples in the help centre; the qualifying-day definition and minimum daily profits; the payout minimums, cycles and balance thresholds; the live-account split, buffer and setup time; the inactivity policy; and the "no coupon" pricing statement.
  • What we could not verify: which activation fee applies today ($5 on the plan cards, $130 in the help centre); whether the monthly-rebilled account option is currently sold; the "thousands of traders" and "40+ countries" claims; and any individual payout in the public ledger.
  • What is simulated: Evaluation, Pro and S2F accounts do not involve real capital. Only the S2L programme trades live, and DayTraders itself says about 1% of sim-funded traders are transitioned to live.
  • The pattern to plan around: the cheapest plans carry the tightest cushions — a $750 fixed drawdown on the $40 Static, an intraday trailing floor on Trail — and the payout thresholds mean the first withdrawal on a 50K Pro account needs $2,600 of profit, not $500.
  • What "legit" should mean for you: treat the firm as an operating business with documented rules, confirm the activation fee in your own dashboard, and budget for the inactivity rule if you trade infrequently.

What we like

  • Prices are genuinely low and one-time: a 50K evaluation costs $50 to $105 depending on drawdown model, and there is no monthly subscription to keep paying while you pass.
  • Every rule is on the plan card before checkout — target, drawdown, daily loss limit, contracts, consistency, payout cap.
  • Two qualifying days to pass is among the shortest minimums we have reviewed.
  • 100% of simulated profits on Pro and S2F accounts, with a same-day payout window and a public ledger that shows processing times.
  • Three drawdown models, so a trader who cannot live with an intraday trailing floor has a fixed-floor alternative for $40.
  • A Straight to Live route with a stated 80/20 split and daily payout requests, for traders who want real capital rather than a sim account.

What could be better

  • The activation fee is $5 on the configurator and $130 in the help centre. Buyers should not have to reconcile that.
  • The consistency rule bites twice: 50% during the evaluation and 30% on the Pro account, and it resets only after a payout on S2F.
  • Payout thresholds require a cushion well above the $500 minimum — $2,600 of profit on a 50K before the first request.
  • The inactivity rule on one-time accounts (4 qualifying days per rolling 30 days) can close a funded account that has done nothing wrong.
  • NinjaTrader is not supported, and the firm's own ArcTrader platform was still "coming soon" on the configurator we read.
  • 492 Trustpilot reviews is a small base for a firm that invites reviews, and the recent one-star reviews are about payment handling.

Does DayTraders have a promo code?

No. DayTraders does not publish coupon codes, and there is no promo code on this page. The firm's own pricing page says "Real prices, no coupon required… What you see is what you pay. No codes to hunt for, no countdown, no expiring offer." FundingCodes holds a referral link for DayTraders, not a discount: opening the firm through our link credits the referral and does not change the price you pay. If DayTraders ever publishes a checkout-verified code, this page will say so with the date it was tested.

Final verdict

Comparing another futures account with intraday trailing drawdown? Our Leeloo Trading review explains its simulated Performance Accounts, published fees and conflicting payout instructions.

DayTraders is best suited to futures traders who want a cheap, one-time evaluation with the rules printed on the card and a fast, documented payout process. The Static plan at $40 is the lowest-risk way to see the firm's dashboard, and the 50K Trail at $70 or 50K EOD at $105 are the realistic funded-account routes. If you already trade profitably and want real capital, the Straight to Live tiers are the interesting product.

The reservations are the activation-fee conflict, the two-layer consistency rule, and a review base that is still small. None of those is disqualifying, but each is worth confirming in your own dashboard before you scale to multiple accounts.

If you are weighing other futures firms, our Elite Trader Funding review covers a monthly-subscription model with a separate activation fee, our Top One Futures review covers a firm with checkout-verified pricing, and our Bulenox review and Alpha Futures review cover two more drawdown models. For a one-time-fee forex alternative, see the QT Funded review.

Research basis: every figure in this review was read from DayTraders' own sites on September 23, 2026 — the homepage and its rendered "Build Your Account" configurator (all EOD, Trail, Static, S2F and S2L plan cards), the pricing page at daytraders.com/promo, the public payout ledger, the affiliate page, and the help centre articles on products, Pro account activation and fees, Static versus Full accounts, the drawdown and threshold guide, QDays versus TDays, the Payout FAQ (Pro + S2F), funded account trading rules, S2F, Straight to Live evaluations, live accounts and payouts, the minimum activity policy, and platform connection guides. Community evidence was read the same day from the DayTraders Trustpilot profile (4.6 from 492 reviews) and two r/PropFirmTester threads. No promotional code is published here: DayTraders runs no coupon codes and our link is a referral link only. Plans, prices and rules change without notice, and the checkout agreement and the firm's current help centre control.
Risk notice: Trading futures and prop firm evaluations involves substantial risk. DayTraders evaluation, Pro and S2F accounts are simulated; only Straight to Live accounts involve real market execution. No account is guaranteed to pass, receive a payout or become profitable. This article is general information, not financial, legal or tax advice.
