TradingView Review 2026 for Futures Prop Traders

As of September 24, 2026, TradingView sells a free Basic plan and four paid plans, from Essential at $14.95 a month to Ultimate at $239.95 a month, with lower monthly rates on annual billing. Real-time CME Group futures data is a separate $9.95 a month for non-professional subscribers; without it, CME data is 10 minutes delayed. Four of the seven prop firms we review list TradingView as a supported trading interface or connection: Alpha Futures, Elite Trader Funding, FXIFY Futures and Top One Futures. The connection differs by firm, so check how your firm routes orders before you pay for a plan.

What TradingView is and who it suits

TradingView is a web, desktop and mobile charting platform. TradingView’s pricing page says the platform is used by 100 million traders. For a futures prop trader it does two jobs: charting and analysis on its own subscription, and order entry when your prop firm connects its accounts to TradingView.

  • It suits traders at a firm that supports TradingView who want the same charts, alerts and Pine Script indicators for analysis and execution.
  • It suits less well traders at Rithmic- or MetaTrader-only firms, where TradingView can still be used for charting but not for placing trades on the funded account.

TradingView plans and prices (checked September 24, 2026)

Considering separate futures strategy automation rather than charting alone? Our QuantVue review examines its ATS pricing, recurring fees and account-permission checks; it is not a hands-on trading test.

Prices are in US dollars per month, as read from tradingview.com/pricing on September 24, 2026. The annual column is the monthly rate shown when billed annually; the monthly-billing rates come from the plan data served on the same page. TradingView says annual billing saves up to 17%.

Other plan limits on the same page that matter for futures work:

  • Market data subscriptions: the comparison table caps extra market data subscriptions at 2 on Essential, 4 on Plus and 6 on Premium.
  • Tick history: historical data by the tick is listed for Ultimate only, covering 7 days.
  • Trading features: the comparison table lists trading through selected brokers, simulated (paper) trading, chart trading and Depth of Market (DOM) trading.

Which prop firms support TradingView

Each row below repeats what our published review of that firm states about TradingView. We did not re-check the firms’ own sites for this page, so confirm the platform for your exact plan at checkout.

Futures data on TradingView

These facts come from TradingView’s CME futures page and pricing page, both read on September 24, 2026.

  • Delayed by default: all CME Group data is available free on TradingView with a 10-minute delay.
  • Real-time add-on: real-time CME, CBOT, COMEX and NYMEX data costs $9.95 a month for non-professional subscribers only.
  • Plan required: extra real-time exchange data, CME included, is added separately and needs one of the paid plans or an active trial.
  • Website only: TradingView says extra real-time data does not work on TradingView widgets.
  • Futures chart tools: regular-trading-hours-only data, a choice of settlement or last price for the daily close, an Open Interest indicator, and continuous futures contracts with optional back-adjustment.

Your prop firm’s own data arrangement is a separate question. FXIFY Futures, for example, includes free Level 1 data on its accounts. Whether that data also appears inside TradingView depends on how the firm connects, so ask the firm before buying the TradingView add-on.

If you care more about full-depth order flow than charting and indicators, see our Bookmap review for futures prop traders.

Limits and caveats

  • Two bills: the TradingView plan and any real-time data add-on are separate from your prop firm’s evaluation fee.
  • Refunds are narrow: refunds cover annual plans only, requested within 14 calendar days of payment. There are none for monthly plans, upgrades or market data, even if you cancel the same day.
  • Cancelling: you can cancel anytime; the plan will not auto-renew and stays active until the paid term ends. A cancelled trial stops immediately.
  • Non-professional status: the $9.95 CME price applies to non-professional subscribers only.
  • Locked platform choice: Alpha Futures says platform choice is not interchangeable after purchase, so pick TradingView at checkout if you want it.
  • Firm rules still apply: automation, copy-trading and news rules are set by the prop firm, not by TradingView.

Risk notice: Trading futures and prop firm evaluations involve substantial risk. A charting subscription does not improve your odds of passing an evaluation or receiving a payout.
