BluSky Trading Review 2026: Plans, Payouts & Live Rules

BluSky offers futures evaluations and a simulated funded stage before possible live brokerage trading. Its October 1, 2026 transition rules make the live account, Bonus Vault and buyout terms essential reading: simulated profits do not simply become withdrawable live capital.

Quick verdict

BluSky may suit an experienced futures trader willing to track multiple stages and account-specific limits. Do not buy based on “daily payouts” or a headline profit split alone. Several official pages conflict on material terms, so confirm the rules for your exact plan before paying.

Key takeaways

  • Different routes: Launch and Propel include a Buffer stage; the Orbit guide describes Evaluation followed by Sim Funded.
  • Later costs: Launch adds a post-pass fee. Resets, live data and trading commissions can matter beyond the evaluation subscription.
  • Simulation first: Sim Funded is not live market execution or a cash balance available on demand.
  • October change: New Live Brokerage transitions start at $0 with an assigned drawdown; eligible simulated profits move into a separate Bonus Vault.
  • Payout conditions: The newer Sim Funded rules state a $500 minimum, rolling caps and trading pauses during requests or reviews.
  • Material uncertainty: The Orbit guide’s payout frequency and Profit Vault description differ from newer general policies. Confirm which terms govern your account. This is a source-led review, not a payout test.

How we reviewed BluSky

We read BluSky’s public plan guides, Sim Funded rules, live-transition policies and community sources on October 12, 2026. We did not purchase an account, test checkout, trade, contact support or receive a payout. Screenshots below show public source pages, not our trading workspace.

FundingCodes is an approved referral partner and may earn a commission through its links. No verified BluSky buyer code or discount is offered here. Our editorial policy explains how we separate merchant statements from independently verified results.

Which BluSky plan is which?

Launch, Propel and Orbit are different rule sets, not interchangeable account sizes. Compare the stages, drawdown and payout conditions before comparing the entry price.

PlanPublished routeMain cost or rule distinction
LaunchEvaluation → Buffer → Sim FundedEvaluation subscription plus a fee after passing: $99 for 50K, $149 for 100K or $179 for 200K.
PropelEvaluation → Buffer → Sim FundedThe plan guide says no activation fee. Its evaluation and Buffer rules still need separate checking.
OrbitEvaluation → Sim FundedThe plan guide says no evaluation consistency rule, then 40% consistency and three trading days between funded payout requests. Newer general policies also apply restrictions; confirm the exact combination.

These distinctions come from the official Launch guide, Propel guide and Orbit guide. BluSky also advertises Instant Funding. We have not verified that product’s complete current rule set and do not recommend treating it as a shortcut to live brokerage.

What will a BluSky account actually cost?

The entry subscription is only one part of the cost. Confirm the current recurring price on the official plans page and your checkout; we did not reproduce a checkout total or promotional discount.

  • Launch subscription: Its guide says billing repeats every 30 days during evaluation and stops when the evaluation is passed. It states that the purchase price, including an applied promotion, is the renewal price.
  • Launch post-pass fee: The $99/$149/$179 fee is due within 14 days of passing. The guide says missing that deadline expires the account and loses the passed evaluation.
  • Resets: Costs depend on stage and plan. A paid evaluation reset does not move the recurring billing date. The current Launch guide lists Buffer resets at $250 for the first three, increasing in later groups.
  • Live market data: The newer Brokerage policy lists Tradovate and Volumetrica at $156 per exchange per calendar month; Rithmic pricing is set by the clearinghouse. Level 2 may cost more.
  • Other charges: Trading commissions and account-specific platform or data costs can affect net proceeds. We have not verified a complete all-in quote, tax treatment or refund entitlement.

Do not apply one stage’s reset fee to another. The Sim Funded reset article dated March 18, 2026 describes up to two resets before a first payout, priced at half the starting balance, and lists older account names. It is not the Launch evaluation or Buffer reset schedule. Confirm availability for your exact account before paying.

How do drawdown and consistency affect passing?

The nominal account size is not your loss allowance. The Launch guide, for example, gives the 50K evaluation a $3,000 profit target and $2,000 end-of-day trailing drawdown.

The same 50K Launch route then requires a separate $3,000 Buffer target. Its guide describes 50% consistency in evaluation and 34% in Buffer. Passing the evaluation therefore does not mean that payouts are immediately available.

For Orbit, the plan guide describes no evaluation consistency rule but a 40% rule in Sim Funded. Read the plan’s own profitable-day calculation and payout-cycle reset instructions; do not substitute a generic percentage calculator or assume that one large winning day qualifies you.

What do “daily payouts” actually allow?

Daily request availability does not mean unrestricted daily withdrawals or guaranteed same-day receipt. The newer Sim Funded rules state a $500 minimum and require traders to stop trading after a payout request until the funds leave the account.

  • New profit between requests: The article requires at least $500 in new trading profit after a request before the next request, subject to other eligibility rules.
  • Rolling limits: The table lists seven-day caps of $1,500 for 25K, $2,500 for 50K and $3,000 for 100K. Static account sizes have their own listed caps. These are not fixed calendar-week resets.
  • Processing: Requests before 11 a.m. ET may be processed that business day; later requests may be processed the following business day. That is not an independently verified arrival-time promise.
  • Trading stops: The article also says to stop after $5,000 daily profit or $10,000 weekly profit. Trading during an active review can cause account loss.

The Payouts article also states a $500 baseline minimum. It says transfers may take one to three business days depending on the bank and payout method, with possible delays. Same-day processing is not a promise of same-day receipt.

What changed when traders move live?

For new transitions from October 1, 2026, BluSky says Live Brokerage begins at $0 with an assigned drawdown. Eligible Sim Funded profits go to the Bonus Vault, not into the live trading balance.

The current live-transition policy says existing Brokerage accounts keep their original structure. It distinguishes Standard-plan reviews from Orbit ceilings:

  • Standard route: Launch, Propel, Instant and Stocks trigger Brokerage Review at $10,000 total profit, including payouts already taken.
  • Orbit route: The current table lists review ceilings of $10,000 for 50K, $12,500 for 100K, $15,000 for 150K and $12,500 for 200K.
  • At the threshold: Stop trading and request review. The article says trading is paused and payouts may be held during review; approval is not automatic.
  • After an invitation: The current policy says active Sim Funded accounts are no longer eligible for trading or payout activity from the time the invitation is issued, not when it is read.
  • Onboarding: The invitation lasts five calendar days. Brokerage documents, KYC, address or tax documentation may be required; country and clearing restrictions can prevent eligibility.

A $0 opening balance does not mean BluSky supplies no trading risk allocation. It means the simulated profit balance is not deposited as live capital. The policy’s 50K example pairs a $0 opening balance with a $2,000 live drawdown.

Can you cash out the Bonus Vault?

Not immediately or unconditionally. The dedicated Bonus Vault article describes $1,000 in bonus payments for each $10,000 in standard Live Brokerage payouts earned and withdrawn, subject to qualification and available Vault balance.

The Vault does not increase the live balance, usable trading capital or drawdown. Bonus requests must be submitted while the live account remains open and in good standing. The policy says a breached or closed live account forfeits the remaining Vault balance, including eligible bonuses not requested before closure.

This makes a displayed Vault balance materially different from cash already paid to you. The older Orbit guide describes a different Profit Vault arrangement involving credits from additional evaluation passes; do not assume those mechanics apply to a new October transition.

What if you take the buyout instead?

The newer Brokerage policy describes a one-time buyout equal to 50% of the applicable drawdown when approved traders decline the live route. It is not 50% of the nominal account size or a promise to pay all simulated profits.

The policy’s example pays $1,000 against a $2,000 drawdown. Its separate buyout announcement also describes 50% of applicable drawdown and a short cooldown before returning to evaluations, without specifying its length.

Get the actual amount received and the applicable cooldown confirmed before choosing. Do not assume that the example resolves every account-specific condition. Separately, the current Brokerage policy says failure of a live account carries a 30-day cooldown unless the Risk Team approves otherwise; that is not the same event as choosing a buyout.

Which other restrictions need checking?

Your exact plan, stage, platform and assigned risk settings matter more than a broad marketing claim. The newer Brokerage rules permit account-specific limits and risk-team changes.

  • News trading: The current Brokerage article permits it unless the account has a specific restriction. Do not assume that a live-account rule applies to every evaluation or Sim Funded plan; confirm the rules for your stage.
  • Platforms: Public policies discuss Rithmic, Tradovate and Volumetrica, but contract limits, scaling, data and integrations differ. We did not test any connection or copier.
  • Eligibility: Confirm country restrictions and Brokerage onboarding requirements with BluSky before buying. Its current Brokerage policy warns that some countries cannot be supported by its brokers or clearing partners. Passing an evaluation does not establish residency or broker eligibility.

What do Trustpilot and Reddit add?

The live Trustpilot profile displayed 4.7/5 from 924 reviews on October 12, 2026. That is a dated platform score, not FundingCodes’ rating, an audit of payouts or proof that current terms suit you.

For a positive example, ttep’s review, with an October 7, 2026 experience date, praises fast, friendly customer support. In a contrasting Riaan K. review with an October 3, 2026 experience date, the reviewer reports a charge above the displayed promotional amount and identity-verification trouble. BluSky’s visible reply acknowledges a PayPal issue and refund, and offers further help. These are attributed reports and a company response, not our audit of billing or support quality.

The r/Daytrading “BluSky Prop” discussion started June 18, 2026 also contains mixed accounts. A June 25 commenter says they passed Launch and Buffer and requested a first daily payout; a July 28 commenter reports daily-P&L and consistency-display problems, an account closure and a corrective reset. We read the thread on October 12. These older, unverified experiences predate the October live-transition changes and cannot establish how those changes work in practice.

Who is BluSky suitable for?

BluSky is worth researching if you already understand futures drawdown, can afford fees without assuming a payout, and can follow changing stage-specific rules. The separate Buffer route and published live option may appeal to that trader, but do not establish better expected returns.

  • Consider researching: Experienced traders who can track subscriptions, consistency, rolling payout caps and review pauses, and obtain clear account-specific answers.
  • Not a good fit: Beginners seeking simple cash withdrawals, guaranteed income, immediately transferable simulated profits or a rules-light account.
  • Still unverified: Checkout totals, refunds, actual execution, payout reliability, support quality and the governing resolution of the policy conflicts identified above.

Compare complete rule sets, not headline balances. Our Bulenox review examines another futures evaluation route; our Leeloo Trading review covers a different account and payout structure. Neither is automatically cheaper, safer or more suitable.

Bottom line: Resolve the material rule conflicts before purchasing BluSky. The referral relationship is not a recommendation to trade, and no evaluation or simulated result guarantees live funding or income. Futures trading involves substantial risk.

Frequently asked questions

Is BluSky Sim Funded a live brokerage account?

No. BluSky says Sim Funded orders remain simulated. Orders reach the real market only in Live Brokerage, after review and onboarding. An evaluation account label is not cash you can withdraw.

What changed at BluSky on October 1, 2026?

The current live-transition policy says new Live Brokerage accounts start at $0 with an assigned drawdown. Eligible Sim Funded profits go into a separate Bonus Vault rather than the live trading balance. Existing Brokerage accounts retain their original structure.

Can you withdraw a BluSky Bonus Vault balance immediately?

No. The dedicated Bonus Vault policy links a $1,000 bonus to each $10,000 in standard Live Brokerage payouts earned and withdrawn, subject to qualification and available Vault balance. Requests must be made while the live account remains open and in good standing. Remaining Vault funds are forfeited if it is breached or closed.

Does FundingCodes have a BluSky discount code?

No verified BluSky buyer code is published here. FundingCodes has an approved referral link, not a verified discount. Check the current plan, recurring charge and later fees before paying.

Did FundingCodes test BluSky payouts?

No. This review compares public official rules and dated community reports. We did not buy or trade an account, test checkout, receive a payout or independently verify community payout claims.
